May One on One

Here is the card I made for my May One on One swap.  I used some new products which will be available for purchase June 1st.

I used the new In color Gumball Green for the base of the card.  The Whisper White layer was embossed using Perfect Polka Dots folder.  The DSP is from Comfort Cafe.  The ribbon is the new Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I stamped an image from Layered Labels in Gumball Green and die cut it using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I stamped the saying from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched it out with our oval punch and adhered it to the center.

All these new products will be available for sale June 1st.  My new catalogs are in!  To get your free copy come to our monthly stack class on May 30th.  Reminder:  This is not our usual day.  Please remember to RSVP for the class as space is limited.

May and Proms

My granddaughter, Carlyssa attended her Junior Prom last week.  I created this page in My Digital Studio using a premade layout.

I haven't played with MDS in a while.  I forget how much fun it is.

Happy Mother's Day!

I received this card for my April one on one swap and thought today would be the perfect day to post it.  You only have to switch out the Get Well wishes for Happy Mother's Day.  This is a great card for Mother's Day, Get Well, Thinking of you, Congratulation etc.  It was made by Mary Grace Conklin.  Beautiful job!

Sneak Peek at some new products!

My preview order came today.  I LOVE the catalog and I LOVE the new ink pads!  I made a couple of cards this afternoon.  One is for my One on One May Swap.  I needed to get it done early as I will be traveling a bit and don't plan on bringing my stamping stuff with me.  That will be a first!

Here is the card I made.  The theme was Father's Day.

The base card is the new in color Gumball Green.  I layered that with Very Vanilla that was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  The DSP is from Comfort Cafe.  The ribbon is the Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin.  I used a stamp from Layered Labels.  I stamped Happy Father's Day from Teeny Tiny Wishes and layered on.  The image was die cut using the new Apothecary Accents Framelets.

This week's INK Color Challenge

The colors this week are Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink and Marina Mist.  For some reason these gave me a difficult time.  Here is what I finally came up with.

The base is Marina Mist layered with Early Espresso that was embossed using the Framed Tulips folder.  I then added a layer of Very Vanilla that was embossed using the Final Press embossing folder that is retiring this month.  The image is from the new Layered Labels that I colored in using the markers with Pretty in Pink and Early Espresso.  It was die cut using the new Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I added a bit of Pretty in Pink ribbon and pearls.

The new product will be available on June 1st.  My catalogs have been shipped so I will have them available for this month's stack class on May 30th.  You are going to just love it!

Today we got to peek at the new upcoming catalog.  I have to tell you all I LOVE it.  Can't wait to get copies so I can hand them out to you!  We were allowed to order the new in colors so I will have them for the next stack class.  Remember it will be held on a Wednesday this month and not our usual Monday.  So be sure to mark your calendars for May 30th.

You needed to use 5 pictures, 5 DSP, an embellishment using 5 things.  I also choose to use pictures of my granddaughter's 5th year!

INK Color Challenge

I am finally getting to do another one.  It's been a while since I managed to do one.

This week's colors are So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke.

The base is Blushing Bride layered with So Saffron that was embossed using the Stripes embossing folder.  I stamped the image from Simply Soft in Stazon and colored in using a blender pen.  I added a Cherry Cobbler bow to finish it off.

We will be getting a new catalog next month so if there is something retiring that you want you need to purchase it now before it's too late.

Another month ending!

We have been having crazy weather.  One day it is hot and you could use the A/C and the next it is cold and you need the heat.  With May on the horizon maybe Spring will be here to stay!  One can only hope!  I am not complaining as our winter was very mild this year.  We do need some rain.

Today is the last day you can order from the Occasions Mini.  The retired list is out and you have until the end of May to order retiring products.  But remember once they are gone, they are gone.  Quantities are limited on many of the items retiring.  Some are already sold out.  If there is something there you truly want, order it today!

Here is a card I case directly from our Stampin' Success magazine.

I used different colors but otherwise I cased this directly from the magazine.  As demonstrators we get the Stampin' Success each month with wonderful examples and super articles on different techniques etc.  You can get it also simply by joining my team.  I would be happy to answer any of your quesitons.

Today we will be making this card in our monthly stack class.

More scrapbooking

I really just want to scrapbook these days.  I have so many pictures that I could do it all day long forever and never get done.  I tend to take a zillion pictures all the time.  I for one love the digital cameras.  Now I don't have to get everyone printed.  I can pick and choose.
