Here we are heading for another weekend! At least today the sun is out and it isn't raining. I plan on stamping today and using the new "toys" I got from the Summer mini. I do need to make some Easter and Passover cards.
I made this card for my girlfriend who is celebrating her birthday this month. She is also a clown so I thought this was appropriate. I did see a card somewhere on line that gave me the inspiration for this one. Mine is kind of scary. I need to work on making eyes!
The base card is Textured Melon Mambo. I used the Petal Cone die to make the hat and the 2 1/2" circle for the face.
The one I saw on line didn't mount the clown on cardstock but made it the whole card. I am sure there are several other differences too but I don't remember where I saw it. But thanks for the inspiration! I love blog surfing. We have so many people out there that post such great samples.
Have a super day!

Oh my gosh! How cute is this! Love it!

This is so adorable (even though I'm not a fan of clowns). Great for a birthday. And I think you did a really good job on the eyes; they have a mischievous look.

Hi Dale! I have to tell you that I have a terrible fear of clowns (not kidding at all)...but this little guy is pretty CUTE! I love how you did the eyes, they are so expressive and have so much detail. I really like the fun colors and the crimped banner, too. Great birthday card! :)
